Strange Sounds - New York - Moments Before Hurricane Sandy Impacts NYC

This unexplainable noise was coming from everywhere thru out the city...I've seen other youtube videos of this noise and did'nt believe them...but it was an erie sound that seemed like it was coming from the ground and the air. A local told me in 25 years he had NEVER heard anything like it until then? I thought is was maybe wind...but it different.
