Shortwave DX: North Korea on 6250 and 2850 kHz received in Germany on Sony ICF-2001D
North Korean domestic shortwave stations received in Germany during a bicycle tour to the fields near my home town on 23 March 2012 around 1740 UTC (local sunset).
Stations received:
6250 kHz - Pyongyang Broadcasting Station (PBS), Pyongyang, 50 kW
2850 kHz - Korean Central Broadcasting Station (KCBS), Pyongyang, 50 kW
Receiver: Sony ICF-2001D with its built-in telescopic whip antenna
Distance: about 8122 km
