UFO SIGHTINGS: Experts - Objects Over Denver Are Not Drones, Planes, Birds or Insects?!

November 22, 2012 - DENVER, UNITED STATES - It's a story that's captured worldwide attention. UFOs caught on camera that appear to be launching and landing in the Denver metro area. An aviation expert could not identify it but we've heard from hundreds of viewers who think they can. So we talked to more experts, and asked an entomologist to analyze the video, but the answer is still anything but clear.

We first told you about the strange sightings in the mile high skies, after a Denver man, who does not want to be identified, brought us his home video. The flying objects are too fast to see with the naked eye, but when we slowed down his footage frame by frame, we saw something there. Aviation expert Steve Cowell could not identify it. "That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds ... I can't identify it," he said. The images were captured on camera from a hilltop in Federal Heights, looking south toward downtown Denver. That location just off of 84th Ave. and Federal Blvd. has now become a popular place for UFO sightseers, "I wanted to come out and get some footage for myself," Jon Gardner of Broomfield told us. And we have been inundated with phone calls and emails from across the country and as far away as Greece, Croatia, Japan and Korea.

Many people have sent us pictures of similar looking objects. Others believe they have "solved our mystery." The top 3 answers we have received are: remote controlled aircraft, military drones or insects. A remote controlled aircraft seems like a possible explanation, but the man who shot the video has spent several days in the area near 56th Ave. and Clay St. where the UFOs appear to be launching and landing. He hasn't seen anyone flying a remote controlled toy, nor have any of the neighbors. Aviation expert Steve Cowell also suspected we had captured military drones until he watched the video, "I don't think it's a drone," he said. He has never seen an unmanned aircraft that flies so erratically. In order to fly drones, the FAA must issue a certificate of authorization. The FAA has issued hundreds of COAs to the University of Colorado to fly drones north of Boulder, but it says no drones are authorized to fly over the Denver metro area. But by far the most popular theory is bugs. Many of you wrote to tell us the object in our video is most likely a fly. We showed the footage to entomologist, or insect expert, Mart Ann Hamilton. "This is a toughie. I've never seen anything like this," she said. Hamilton watched the video over and over again, then she gave us her professional opinion. "After watching the various shots, I do not believe it's an insect. The shape is inconsistent with an insect," she said. But that won't convince skeptics, like Bret Dallas. "The UFOs aren't UFOs anymore, we've identified them as insects," he said.

Longtime amateur astronomer Allen Epling witnessed the mysterious object, and captured it on video with his Meade 8″ SCT astronomical telsecope. He explains that the UFO hovered in the same location for more than two hours, "not drifting more than 10 degress in any direction." But Epling isn't the only individual who witnessed the UFO. According to Lex 18, local police received numerous calls about the strange aerial object.

Image in video was shot with about 150 power magnification. I couldn't risk losing it by taking time to set up a tripod or fixed mount for the camera, so I handheld the camera and struggled to keep the image steady and in the field of view. Couldn't take time to really get a good focus for fear of losing it. However the object's periodic brightening blurred the image anyway at full brightness.

In addition to his video, Epling was able to snap several photos of the UFO.

Journalist Kyle Lovern photographed a similar aerial object that same day approximately thirty miles away in Williamson, West Virginia. Several witnesses over a wide area have reportedly seen this UFO.

According to Lex 18, the Air Force and local airports were contacted about the object in Kentucky, but so far, nobody has been able to identify these sightings.

Evidence Of The Extreme Climate Change

Since Hurricane Sandy hit Northeast American coast the news channels have started running these types of reports. Trying to tell us that things on this planet are not right and are getting much worse. The weather has gone from bad to strange and extreme.
This is a very real thing and needs to taking serious. The evidence has been pouring in everyday from around the world with the worst of it in North America. Storms are getting bigger and stronger, powerful earthquakes happen more often than ever before, massive floods and the list goes on and on........
Every time something happens its always the first time its happen or the first time in over a 100 years with each event. I do believe that thing will get worse each year! Its not global warming, I believe its climate change or the poles shifting. This happens few thousand years.

Glenn Kimball Discusses 2012 and Ancient Manuscripts

Expert in ancient manuscripts, Glenn Kimball, discussed what the Mayans and other ancients recorded on their calendars about the year 2012, and the grand implications of what could be in store for humanity. Kimball began by describing a visit he received from a mysterious messenger, who claimed to represent the six remaining Mayan tribes. He said the visitor showed him photographs of an ancient 800-page document engraved on metal sheets, as well as pictures of the underground dwelling of the six Mayan tribes (located somewhere in the Yucatan Peninsula).

Kimball said the Mayans "knew more about the cosmos than we do" and based their calendar on the 25,640-year precessionary cycle of the solar system, dividing it into 12 quadrants. The Mayan calendar ends just as this precessionary cycle finishes, Kimball noted, in the year 2012. By then, and because of the Earth's wobble and alignment with the Sun and the center of the galaxy, there will be a tendency for our planet to shift its polarity, he explained. According to Kimball, the shift will cause ocean currents to reverse, leading to massive flooding, volcanic eruptions and devastating global climate change. He does not, however, believe this will be the end of the world.

The cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis suggests that there have been geologically rapid shifts in the relative positions of the modern-day geographic locations of the poles and the axis of rotation of the Earth, creating calamities such as floods and tectonic events.

There is evidence of precession and changes in axial tilt, but this change is on much longer time-scales and does not involve relative motion of the spin axis with respect to the planet. However, in what is known as true polar wander, the solid Earth can rotate with respect to a fixed spin axis. Research shows that during the last 200,000,000 years a total true polar wander of some 30° has occurred, but that no super-rapid shifts in the Earth's pole were found during this period. A characteristic rate of true polar wander is 1° per million years or less. Between approximately 790 and 810 million years ago, when the supercontinent Rodinia existed, two geologically-rapid phases of true polar wander may have occurred. In each of these, the magnetic poles of the Earth shifted by ~155°

Definition and clarification

The geographic poles of the Earth are the points on the surface of the planet that are intersected by the axis of rotation. The pole shift hypothesis describes a change in location of these poles with respect to the underlying surface -- a phenomenon distinct from the changes in axial orientation with respect to the plane of the ecliptic that are caused by precession and nutation, and from true polar wander.

Pole shift hypotheses are not connected with plate tectonics, the well-accepted geological theory that the Earth's surface consists of solid plates which shift over a fluid asthenosphere; nor with continental drift, the corollary to plate tectonics which maintains that locations of the continents have moved slowly over the face of the Earth, resulting in the gradual emerging and breakup of continents and oceans over hundreds of millions of years.

Pole shift hypotheses are not the same as geomagnetic reversal, the periodic reversal of the Earth's magnetic field (effectively switching the north and south magnetic poles).

The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs according to which cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on 21 December 2012. This date is regarded as the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae have been proposed as pertaining to this date, though none have been accepted by mainstream scholarship.

A New Age interpretation of this transition is that this date marks the start of time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era. Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar catastrophe. Scenarios suggested for the end of the world include the arrival of the next solar maximum, an interaction between Earth and the black hole at the center of the galaxy, or Earth's collision with a planet called "Nibiru".
