First hour guest, former SEAL Team 3 member Mike Ritland (book link) talked about training elite Navy SEAL dogs. While the SEAL dogs are similar to other working dogs, what sets them apart is that they have an absolute drive to do this kind of work, and a relentless willingness to defeat the target being apprehended, often amidst tough environmental challenges, he explained. Detailing one case, he described how a SEAL dog was shot point blank in the chest by an insurgent, but still managed to subdue and hold on to the target until the team came in. The dog was medevaced out and treated by a surgeon. He subsequently recovered, and was actually deployed again, though is now retired at Ritland's K9 Warrior Foundation.
Mike Ritland joined the Navy in 1996 and graduated with BUD/S class 215. After years as a member of SEAL Team 3 he became a BUD/S instructor and then started his own company to train dogs for the West Coast SEAL teams. Today he continues to supply working and protection dogs to a host of clients. He started the K9 Warrior Foundation to help retired military dogs after their service.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident: SCARIER THAN FICTION!!
The Dyatlov Pass incident resulted in the deaths of nine ski hikers in the northern Ural mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. It happened on the east shoulder of the mountain Kholat Syakhl.
The mountain pass where the incident occurred has since been named Dyatlov Pass after the group's leader, Igor Dyatlov.
Investigators at the time determined that the hikers tore open their tent from within, departing barefoot into heavy snow and a temperature of −30 °C (−22 °F). Although the corpses showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs, and one was missing her tongue and there was radiation present as the bodies were aged very quickly.
Personally, this is an extremely interesting case and requires further investigation.
I found a documentary developed by the local Russian Television Agency of Ural that is over 2 hours in length and can be subtitled using the browser. This goes into greater detail then the
history channel piece and expands the mystery on the subject. Well worth the watch.

Bosnian Pyramids, Ancient Texts & Discoveries
Historian Glenn Kimball discussed various topics related to ancient texts, Jesus, the Middle East and pyramids. He claimed that Jesus was actually a stone mason rather than a carpenter and that he traveled to America before the crucifixion. "We've lost sight of the history of our own continent," commented Kimball, who believes that the Ark of the Covenant may actually reside in Arkansas. Ancient trade routes were far more extensive than what is generally realized, he added.
While finding the Gospel of Judas to be an authentic ancient text, he does not view its information as being completely accurate. Jesus told Judas he would betray him because Jesus had the gift of seeing into the future, not because Jesus requested that Judas do this, Kimball explained. He also shared that Da Vinci had access to the Vatican's library and gleaned some of his futuristic ideas from reading suppressed prophetic writings.
The Bosnia pyramid, which is taller than the Great Pyramid at Giza, is a man-made structure, Kimball believes, and he noted that it's grouped with two other pyramids-- a triadic combination that can be seen with pyramids in Mexico, Peru and Egypt. He also announced the opening of the Kimball College, where students can explore his research further.
Biography:
Glenn Kimball has a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in Communications. In addition he has successfully completed all course work for a Ph.D. in Communications and passed his doctoral exams, lacking his dissertation. He was the former president of International Exchange School and vice president of two cellular phone companies. Glenn has taught school at Southern Illinois University and was ranked by student evaluations in the top ten instructors at the university. He has been collecting ancient texts since the age of fifteen and is famous for being able to integrate very diverse texts into a contiguous story line.
Due to the censorship of time and doubt, most of the documents and oral stories chronicling the early life of Jesus were destroyed, lost, or forgotten. After 25 years of research, during which Kimball visited museums, Indian tribes, medicine men, and universities, he assembled some of the missing links and unsolved mysteries of Christianity.
